History 


Jamoi is a vibrant liberal arts community school situated in Mon State, dedicated to nurturing the potential of young individuals.

Established in 2012, the school was founded with the mission of empowering youths through a comprehensive range of liberal arts and language courses. Over the years, Jamoi has become a beacon of holistic education, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and cultural understanding among its students. To date, Jamoi has proudly graduated over 500 students, while currently serving 250 enrolled students, reflecting its steady growth and commitment to quality education.

The school takes pride in its inclusive and dynamic learning environment, where students are encouraged to explore diverse disciplines, engage in meaningful dialogue, and develop a lifelong love for learning. Jamoi’s alumni have gone on to pursue higher education and meaningful careers, contributing to both their local communities and beyond. Through dedicated faculty and modern teaching approaches, Jamoi continues to inspire the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators.

Passionate educators driving our mission forward

Tony Fred

Head of Curriculum Development

Tony received a degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and a Ph D. degree in 1998 and 2004. After a post-doctoral experience he joined the school as professor of mechatronics in 2006. In 2010, he became Head of IT.

Mich Stark

Academic Coordinator

He is professor in the Institute of Mechanics, Materials and Civil Engineering since 2000. He lectures in mechanical drawing and mechanical design for undergraduate and graduate students. He is active in Problem and Project based learning. He is the promoter of 8 doctoral theses.

Aline Turner

Education Director

She has been practicing law at the French-speaking Brussels Bar since 2006. She has worked in various major law firms based in Brussels, as member and then head of their litigation/arbitration practice groups.

Iris Joe

Lead educator and mentor

Iris, with her international experience, helps us easily understand the numbers and improves them. She is determined to drive success and delivers her professional acumen to bring the company to the next level.
